Achievements
- FKL has been providing supported education to more than 500 students from economically depressed families. The students who attended the KG and the First Cycle education have now reached college levels.
- FKL built a community library inside the existing school premise letting the members of the community surf the internet free of charge. A good number of books, reference materials, educational materials, computers, etc., have been acquired and offered to students and other members of the community to make use of.
- FKL built a new model school (G+1), called Fregenet Danbi KG and Primary School in Bishoftu town and handed the model school to the Bishoftu Education Office in 2022. Bishoftu is 50 Km East of Addis Ababa.
- FKL obtained 1779 m2 land from the Addis Ababa City Administration freely in order to build a new school and extend its services more widely. The school design is under way and maybe completed in the coming weeks.
- FKL has One Director, 6 teachers, and 3 persons in the preparation of meals for the students and one overall manager of the organization. There are also other employees handling purchasing activities, office services, accounting works and security duties.
